Ideal for Birthdays, Anniversaries a romantic night out, or just relaxing with friends enjoy a
2 hour cruise aboard The Elver. We can supply your buffet or you may wish to bring a picnic to enjoy as we gently meander along the canal to Beeleigh Weir in time for sunset.
Please feel free to provide your own wine etc. Upon arrival two volunteers are required to open and close the flood gates (pictured above) before entering the Weir pool. Once moored passengers may disembark to enjoy the picturesque scenery of where the river Blackwater meets the canal and also the first lock gates on route to Chelmsford. Returning during dusk ensures a truly enchanting experience and one you will want to take again.

Our finger buffets are delivered ready to serve complete with all tableware.
Please feel free to supply your own alcohol. Picnic tables are supplied. We advise you to bring a light jacket to ensure your comfort.

Booking Conditions

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking based on final numbers and the balance payable either by cash on the day, or by cheque fourteen days prior to your cruise.
